Turns out my tartar sauce is not standard, so here’s the recipe for those who asked, I guess.

Yield: Enough for four to six fish filets
Ingredients
- A few heaping spoonfuls real mayonnaise
- A couple bread-and-butter pickles, finely diced
- Small spoonful capers
- Small spoonful dijon mustard
- Juice of half a lemon or so
- A bit of chopped fresh dill
- Smidge prepared horseradish, to taste
- Several twists black pepper
- Dash onion powder
- Dash garlic powder
- Dash dried parsley
- Pinch monosodium glutamate
Directions
Mix ingredients. Let sit in the refrigerator for about half an hour, if time allows.
